What each level asks of you
A verifier marks against these descriptors. Level 1 is free and self-directed; Levels 2 and 3 use credits and a human verifier.
L1
You can correct grammar, spelling and house style in a draft without changing what it says.
L2
You restructure a draft for its reader, cut what does not earn its place, and return it publishable.
L3
You set the editorial standard and voice a title writes to, and can resolve the disagreements about it.
What counts as evidence at L2
A draft you edited, with your changes explained and the published result.
Evidence has to be work you did. It is attached to the request and read by the verifier — it is never published.
