What each level asks of you
A verifier marks against these descriptors. Level 1 is free and self-directed; Levels 2 and 3 use credits and a human verifier.
L1
You can write a clear, structured draft from a brief, to the length it needs.
L2
You write a long-form piece that answers its reader's questions in order, with sources a reader can check for themselves.
L3
You write the piece a programme's reputation rests on, and edit other writers to the same standard.
What counts as evidence at L2
Published long-form work you wrote, with the brief it answered.
Evidence has to be work you did. It is attached to the request and read by the verifier — it is never published.
