Making an interface usable by people who are not like the person who built it.
Reference CAP-DES-003
What each level asks of you
A verifier marks against these descriptors. Level 1 is free and self-directed; Levels 2 and 3 use credits and a human verifier.
L1
You can name the faults that most often stop assistive technology from using an interface.
L2
You run an accessibility pass against WCAG, separate what blocks a task from what is merely untidy, and get it fixed.
L3
You build accessibility into the standard a team designs and ships against, so it stops being a late audit.
What counts as evidence at L2
An audit you ran, with the blockers, the fixes and the retest.
Evidence has to be work you did. It is attached to the request and read by the verifier — it is never published.
