Usability Testing
Watching real people use a product to find where it gets in their way, before and after a design ships.
Usability Testing covers planning, running and reporting tests with representative users — moderated or unmoderated — to find and fix usability problems in a design.
What you will be assessed on
A reviewer marks against these criteria. L1 is a free knowledge check; L2 and L3 use credits and a reviewer.
L1
Knows what a usability test is, how to write a task scenario, and what makes a finding valid.
L2
Has planned and run moderated tests, analysed sessions, and reported issues a team fixed before release.
L3
Designs the testing programme for a product, chooses methods across the lifecycle, and reports findings that shape strategy.
